Testimonials

Each trade team was project managed with precision. Throughout the job Derek kept us informed with any issues and gave invaluable advise on many aspects of the build, which were implemented to our advantage. We were kept abreast of the finances at all times. THIS PROJECT CAME IN ON TIME and within BUDGET.

DS Developments managed our extension from start to finish. We found them professional and customer focused, with regular reviews and discussions with Derek our building project went very smooth. The standard of finish is exceptional and came in on time and on budget. A valuable aspect of the service DS Developments offer is their expertise and advice (which is completely free). We had our ideas of how our extension space would be used, DS Developments listened to what we wanted from our home and showed us other design options, we took their professional advice and made so much more of the new living space we created. As a result of early engagement with DS Developments and the strong link they have with their architect and engineers the build technicalities and paperwork were seamless and managed efficiently, which meant building control and regulations were a seamless process. DS Developments come highly recommended by us and we found the same feedback speaking to their other clients before our build commenced.

From start to finish our extension build was managed perfectly with high quality, friendly and on time tradesmen. Derek kept us updated throughout and was always available to answer any questions we had. Very happy we chose DS Developments and we would definitely choose them again.

Derek and his team of trades built our extension to a very high standard and Derek project managed all aspects of the build very effectively and efficiently. We were very impressed by his whole approach which was very professional and friendly. He demonstrated a high-level of technical expertise and attention to detail. We worked closely with Derek who was available for queries, advice and regular reviews throughout the project. All trades were reliable and very tidy. Ultimately the extension was delivered as per our design, to the fixed costing, ahead of schedule and also importantly with minimised impact on our day to day living at home while the works were carried out. We strongly recommend Derek and to ideally engage him during the design/drawings stage as he can highlight options and costings early on. We look forward to working with Derek again.

We would definitely recommend Derek and his team. There work was to an exceptionally high standard. The job went like clockwork with no hiccups whatsoever. We are so pleased with our new room. Derek kept us informed at all times and went the extra mile for us. We will definitely use this company again. They are superb!

I would recommend DS Developments to anyone that asks and would not hesitate to use Derek again in the future. DS Developments delivered an excellent building and design service. Early engagement with Derek and his recommended architects and engineers delivered many benefits for us: in terms of additional design ideas and seamless journey through the planning process. Derek and his team built our single story extension to an extremely high standard and we are delighted with the extra space and cannot recommend this company, its people, their attention to detail and their customer service highly enough.

I have had the pleasure of working with Derek on many projects over the last 4 years and greatly appreciate his knowledge of construction. His determination to find the most cost effective solutions while maintaining a high quality build is a tremendous asset. His sites are clean and safe and the hours he spends behind the scenes ensuring that projects run smoothly is admirable. I look forward to many more years working together.

What began with a chat about space restrictions at PKAVS Big Hoose project led to an offer from Derek to carry out all the work needed to renovate our small warehouse. All internal rooms that were not needed were removed including all electrical work. An additional small office was built in. From that initial chat to the work being completed Derek kept me informed and gave us ideas to improve our space. Our warehouse capacity has literally tripled overnight which means we now have the capacity to support 100’s more families & children in Perth & Kinross every week. Derek carried out all works on this project at no cost for our charity. I personally cannot thank him enough for his time, patience, expertise and of course his generosity during this entire process. Would highly recommend.
